Candle Review

My favourite thing to do this time of the year even though it is so cliche is to snuggle under a warm blanket and watch Netfix with the fragrant smell of a burning candle. The first candle I've lit this year is Festive Cheer by the company lily flame.

This candle is a rich sent with the smell resembling autumn and winter. This candle smells like you've walked into a gingerbread factory. A memory this candle evokes is every Christmas reaching in to my stocking and pulling out a tangerine.

The second smell is less festive with a hyacinth sent. This is such a fresh natural smell which makes your feel good. This candle makes you feel as though you are surrounded by idyllic views and beautiful flowers.

The festive cheer candle can be found in many local stores and online at lily-flame. You can get this cheaper on ebay. The hyacinth candle can be found on Kew Gardens and john lewis.

Healthy Food Brands Review (CLIF and Taste Of Nature)

I have taken a while to write this review as I wanted to try most of the bars without feeling like I had to rush eating them. I still haven't tried all of the bars as I eat them during a extra long day at collage or during training. Overall their so easy to eat when in a rush and they provide you with sustaining energy. I am delighted with the bars they are sweet, chocolaty and filling
I'll start off with all of the cliff bars:
Chocolate almond fudge- The almonds in this bar were in small pieces and they weren't to crunchy which I liked.
Crunchy peanut butter- This was lovely! I was looking forward to trying this one to see if the peanut flavour was balanced and not to much however it wasn't. There was just the right amount of peanut butter for me.
Oatmeal raisin walnut- This one was harder in texture than the rest but the contrasting soft chewy raisins and the crunchy walnuts worked really well. I surprising liked this one.

From the brand Taste of Nature I have tried:
Coconut- this was more sticky than I thought but the delicate taste of coconut was very nice.
Apple- I loved this one! The taste of apple was and the puffs of rice added a airy texture.

Healthy Food Brands Review (CLIF and Taste of Nature)

Hello,
On Tuesday I received a parcel from Healthy Food Brands and I am so pleased I can review them for you. I requested some CLIF and Taste of Nature bars as I struggle with healthy bar alternatives. I find I eat unhealthy bars as they are so easy to grab and eat on the go.

"CLIF bar is a source of protein and fibre and contains 11 vitamins including B6 and B12 which contribute to the normal release of energy for use in the body."

I received five CLIF bars in the flavours crunchy peanut butter, chocolate chip, chocolate almond fudge, oatmeal raisin walnut and blueberry crisp. These bars value at £1.60 and you can purchase them at Boots, Tesco and Holland & Barrett.

"Taste of Nature bars contain the most succulent and moreish ingredients from around the world to deliver pure, organic goodness in every mouthful."

I also received five Taste of Nature bars in the flavours California almond valley, goji, Brazil nut, coconut and apple. These bars cost £1.39 and can by purchased at Ocado and planet organic.

They came with a lovely hand written letter and some information on what goes into them and the benefits of each bar. Thank you Healthy Food Brands for the products and allowing me to review them.
I am yet to try them so keep your eyes open for the review. It will take me a while to eat all the bars so the reviews may be staggered.
I am most looking forward to trying blueberry crisp, crunchy peanut butter, coconut and goji. Which ones do you like the sound of?

Ponds Cold Cream

    Hello,
Recently I bought the Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser the smell is rich and refreshing.
When you open the cream it looks like meringue which is my favourite part! Its thick and it almost has a frothy texture. On the packaging it says that its suitable for all skin types which is good if your like me and have combination skin.

There is 50 ml in the pot which isn't that big however as its thick you don't need much for each use. I personally think the packaging is pretty with the pink and I like that the pot is glass as it makes it feel more expensive. However I would be worried taking it traveling.

I recommend this product as it left me skin feeling clean and hydrated.

You can buy this cream in boots for £3.29 and superdrug for £4.99.

Ponds also do a nourishing anti wrinkle cream, hydro nourishing cream and triple action moisturiser. I am yet to try these but I am sure they would be just as lovely!

Fast hair shampoo and conditioner

I requested a sample of the hair product to see if it actually worked and it did!
I emailed asking on the 27th of July, I had a reply on the 28th and I received 3 packets of both the shampoo and conditioner on the 30th. I couldn't have been happier with this service.

In the email it said "FAST is a shampoo and conditioner that works to make your existing hair grow as quickly as possible" I tried to keep positive as I know my hair doesn't grow very fast.
Each sample was 10 ml. I shampoo my hair twice every wash and condition once. Each 10 ml of shampoo lasted me 2 washes and the conditioner lasted me 4 washes. This is quite a lot from a little sample pack.

My hair has grown quicker and it is visible to other people as well.
I regret that I didn't measure my hair but if know that it has grown and so do others.
The shampoo and conditioner left my hair smooth and the smell stayed on the hair for the first day which is what I really look for in hair products.

You can purchase Fast Shampoo and Conditioner from Amazon or Boots. On Amazon its £29.99 for 360 ml and on Boots its £29.99 for £300 ml I know which one I’d go for.
